Frances is a director in the firm and qualified as a Solicitor in 2002, having raised a family and worked in the voluntary sector for a number of years working for the Citizens’ Advice Bureau, Mental Health Advocacy and Parentline.
Frances specialises in family law with a particular interest in proceedings involving children. Frances is a member of the Children’s Panel and has considerable experience representing children, parents and grandparents.
In addition to care proceedings, Frances’s work includes acting for parents where there is a dispute regarding arrangements for the children and she represents parents and children in those cases where the children themselves are joined as parties to the court proceedings with a Children’s Guardian being appointed.
Frances also deals with Adoption and Special Guardianship cases. She undertakes the majority of her own advocacy.

When Frances is not working she enjoys travelling, cycling and reading.
